1. Remove the milk hose from the shutoff valve.
2. Remove the four cover screws.
3. Remove and replace the diaphragm with a new one. Clean surfaces if necessary. The dimple on
the diaphragm faces away from the milk contact side or toward the cover.
4. Replace the cover and carefully snug tighten the four screws.
Do not over tighten, torque with a power screw driver set at 5. Over tightening
will cause the cover to warp and possibly break
Troubleshooting for Sensing Circuit w/Milk Flow Simulator PN # 70019
# 70019 Cow Simulator
# 70140 Flow Cell
Sensor w/8’ (2.4m) Cable
Step One:
Insert Cow Simulator into inflow end of Flow Cell.
Step Two:
Align pins in Flow Cell with matching holes in the Cow Simulator. The Cow Simulator will
fit as shown below.
Step Three:
Switch the Control into the milking mode.
Step Four:
If the milk yield circuitry is operating correctly the will count milk. Flow rates will vary
since each milk flow simulator is not exactly the same however as long as the counts and registers
milk yield the sensing circuit is working properly.
***
If, on the other hand, It does not count milk refer to the trouble shooting guide

Replacing Flow Cells
When replacing a flow cell normally using the scotch lock wire splicing connectors (PN#20205) to
splice the wires is an excellent choice. Be sure to protect the wire spice connectors after installation.
It is best to keep the spices covered in a box or PVC tubing away for direct water. Be sure the
scotch lock connectors are applied properly. (Wires fully inserted and completely tight).
