5.2.3.1. CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING THE HYDRAULIC HOSES
For all operations, use the
PPE
(Personal Protective Equipmen) described below:
Protective gloves
Safety shoes
Work overalls
Protective glasses
DANGER!
Danger of malfunctions in the event of incorrect connection of the hydraulic hoses!
Make sure that the hydraulic hoses are connected correctly.
CAUTION! Danger of infections.
Do not attempt to close any leaks from the hydraulic hoses using the hands or fingers. High
pressure fluid (hydraulic oil) may penetrate into the body through the skin and cause serious
injuries.
IN THE EVENT OF INJURIES FROM HYDRAULIC OIL, SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IMMEDIATELY.
Use suitable equipment to find leaks, considering the high danger of serious infections.

Before working on the hydraulic system:
s¬
rest the machine on the ground
s¬
discharge the pressure from the hydraulic system
s¬
turn off the tractor engine
s¬
activate the parking brake
s¬
remove the ignition key
s¬
Before connecting or disconnecting the hydraulic hoses:
s¬
make sure that the hydraulic system on the tractor and the machine is depressurised.
s¬
clean the hydraulic connectors
s¬
CONNECTING THE HYDRAULIC HOSES
s¬
Connect the hydraulic hoses to the hydraulic valves on the tractor.
s¬
Do not exceed the maximum admissible operating pressure of 200 bars.
s¬
The hydraulic system operates at high pressure.
s¬
DISCONNECTING THE HYDRAULIC HOSES
s¬
Release the connector from the hydraulic coupling.
s¬
Protect the hydraulic fittings with dust caps
s¬
Return the hydraulic connector to the connector holder on the machine.
