04 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION
4.2. INTENDED USE
The machine is designed for professional use and operators must have proven aptitude and be able to read and understand the
information described in this manual. Operators should in addition use the machine in accordance with safety standards in force and
the operating conditions and characteristics of the machine.
INTENDED USE PRODUCT ALLOWED
Fertilising soil Solid mineral fertilizers in granular or powder form
WARNING!
Never spread materials that are not specified in this manual: this represents a risk to the safety
of the people who use the machine or who are in the immediate vicinity.
The machine in question:
s¬ has been built in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC , as described in the EC declaration of conformity.
s¬ is intended for professional use and must only be used in agriculture, for spreading fertilizer and seeds.
s¬ must be coupled to the three-point hitch and towed and operated by tractors or vehicles whose power is suitable for the overall
weight at full load (see
§ "4.4. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS" on page 4-7 ;
s¬ can only be operated by one person, from the driving position in the tractor.
s¬ must only be operated outdoors, in conditions whereby the product spreading distance is clearly visible.
s¬ is fitted with an adjustable system for spreading over a variable distance between 12 and 24 metres (with standard spreader
discs).
s¬ is fitted with an adjustable shutter, used to open and close fertilizer flow and to meter highly-concentrated products and seeds.
Maximum safety: all the components of the transmission and the moving parts are protected by protective guards in compliance
with the EC standards in force.
WARNING!
Never remove the protective guards fitted on the machine.
