5 Maintenance of Machine
5.1 Preliminary Information
While using vertical auger feed mixer, it is necessary to regularly check the technical
condition and perform the necessary maintenance. These maintenances ensure that
your machine operates as efficiently as it was on the first day. In cases where you are
insufficient about maintenance, you can contact the phone numbers given on the
contact information section of the user manual and ask help from the experts. The parts
that you need to maintain regularly are given on below titles.
5.2 Maintenance Recommendations for Axle
and Tires of the Machine
Since the axle is one of the most important components of the machine, ask for
expert assistance or consult qualified people for its maintenance. The user can
only perform a limited maintenance on the axle. These maintenance actions are;
Checking the tightness of the nuts of the axle bearings
Checking the air pressure, reviewing the visual condition of the tires
(Checking if there are any cracks, deflections etc. on the tire)
Controlling the axle brakes, in case of any problems, applying to the
authorized service.
Greasing the axle bearings.
5.3 Tightening of Bolts and Nuts on the
Machine Reference Table
Regarding tightening the studs and bolts, you should consult the following tables.
When tightening the studs, under coercive circumstances, table values and lever arm
can be used without any special tools. It is also essential to use a torque wrench on
bolts and hydraulic fittings.
