Function and application

The safety module SE-Power FS Safety Module STO has the following performance
characteristics:



“Safe Torque Off” (STO) function,



Potential-free feedback contact for the operating status,



Designed as a plug-in module that can be plugged in from the outside thus enabling
retrofits,



Suitable solely for SE-Power FS servo drives series.

The “Safe Stop 1” (SS1) function can be realised by employing a suitable external safety
switching device and appropriate servo drive SE-Power FS circuitry.
