0.3 meter (1 foot) away from the ACU.

The system is designed to cope with the worst acoustic and line conditions
and will ensure good performance, even at maximum volume. Minimum
howling or sound distortion can be avoided by reducing the volume, especially
during the first 60 seconds of operation.
