Guideline chart – optimum weight (kg/lb (pound))
Attention:
Owing to great variations in the level of body fat it is diffi cult to obtain a referen-
ce value. On average for adult men the best time for the measurement is between 6 and 8
o‘clock p.m. because the level of body fat is very constant during this period!
Putting into service
Simple Weighing Function
Position the balance on a hard, fl at surface (avoid carpets). Uneven floors lead to impreci-
se readings.
1. With the switch in the battery compartment you can select between the settings
“lb” and “kg”.
2. Switch on the scales by pressing lightly with your foot or toes on the glass surface.
Note:
“88888” appears in the display.
3. After a few seconds “0.0” kg (0,0 lb) appears in the display (5). Now stand with both
feet on the contact surfaces (4) of the scales. Spread your weight out evenly and wait
while the scales calculate your weight.
4. The indication on the display initially flashes 2x, then your exact weight will be shown.
When you step down from the scales, the device switches off automatically after 10
seconds or you can push the ON button .
