Before the power cable is inserted into the socket, all
connections should be checked again thoroughly. Then
the power cable is inserted carefully into the socket.
Press the POWER switch on the front of the device in
order to switch it on. The display lights up.
When the device is switched on, a brief power surge
may cause interference to other electronic equipment
connected to the same power circuit. In this case the
device should be connected to a power socket on a
different circuit.
Selecting the Sound Source
1. Press the corresponding function button (DVD, AM/
FM, AUX1, AUX2) to select the desired sound source.
The appropriate symbol appears in the display.
2. If the AM/FM button is pressed, the last channel that
was heard is switched on again.
Volume Control
The volume can be regulated either by turning the large
volume knob on the front of the device or by pressing
the corresponding button on the remote control.
Mute
When the MUTE button is pressed the loudspeakers are
switched off temporarily. When the button is pressed
a second time, the device returns to normal audio
playback.
