Troubleshooting

The view in the display
does not light up.
No sound and no picture,

receiver is on.
No sound or picture.
The TV set does
not show a picture.
Poor picture,
locking error
The remote control
does not function.
The power cable is not connected.
Connect the power cable to the mains socket.
The receiver is in standby mode.
Press the "
" key. The receiver switches on and the
channel is shown on the TV screen.
The receiver is in VCR mode.
Press the DTV/VCR button.
Wrong picture format setting.
Press the green button repeatedly to choose the correct setting.
No signal or a weak signal only.
Check the cable connection to the receiver and from the receiver to the
connected devices.
Align the antenna.
The system is not connected correctly.
Check the SCART or HF cable's connection.
The TV set is not in AV mode.
Switch the TV set to the relevant AV input.
The antenna is not aligned correctly.
Align the antenna.
The batteries are spent.
Replace the batteries with new ones.
The remote control is not being pointed properly.
Point the remote control at the front of the receiver and make sure that nothing
is positioned between the remote control and the receiver.
