NOTE:
If the LIS connection becomes disconnected, the LIS icon turns Red. All sample test
results become LIS pending. Once the connection is re-established the instrument will send the
results to the LIS Server, if set to automatic.

7.8.2 Static IP
• To make the IP address of the instrument static, check the Static IP.
7.8.3 Changing instrument IP address
• To change the Instruments IP address, press the keyboard icon. The numeric
Keyboard
screen opens.
• Enter the IP address using the numeric keypad.
• Press
ENTER
once completed.
7.8.4 Changing server IP address
• To change the server IP address, press the keyboard icon. The numeric
Keyboard
screen opens.
• Enter the server IP address using the numeric keypad.
• Press
ENTER
once completed.
7.8.5 Ping
• Use this function to test the network connection. With LIS enabled, enter a valid server
IP address, then press
PING
.
• If the connection is successful, the circle turns green for 3 seconds and returns to gray.
• If the connection failed, the circle turns red.
7.8.6 Server port
To edit the server port, press the keyboard icon. This opens the
Keyboard
screen. Enter the
server port address using the numeric keypad and press
ENTER
once completed.
7.8.7 Mode
The instrument can function as either the LIS client, or as the LIS server. Select the desired
mode.
