6.4 Statistics
The user can calculate statistics (mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation) for up to
20 selected results.
• To select a result, press on the desired result, and the line highlights in blue.
• After selecting the desired group of results, press
STATISTICS
, located on the lower
portion of the display.
• An example of a window displaying the statistics for the selected results is shown below
(Figure 6.4).
• Press
to print the statistics displayed in the window. Press
EXIT
to return to the
Results
screen.

6.5 Chart
Use this feature to display a Levey-Jennings chart for a selected control (Figure 6.5). The chart
function is only available for results with a Sample ID, and when the Sample ID is entered as a
control (See Controls section for more info).
Press
CHART
to open a Levey-Jennings chart for that particular lot of control material. An
example of a Levey-Jennings chart for a 2000 mOsm/kg H
2
O standard is shown below (Figure
6.5).
Once the chart is opened, the view of the chart can be changed based on the standard
deviation (SD) bands. The white line labeled Nominal indicates the expected value for the given
control. The user can select bands of one standard deviation, two standard deviations, or three
standard deviations. Press
EXIT
to return to the
Results
screen.
