a. Do not start this test with a sample tube on the operating head
because the test begins by attempting to wipe the probe.
b. Do not start this test with a cassette under the operating head
because the cassette will not be properly positioned.
On entry, “
[START] Test [STOP]
” is displayed. Press START to
begin the test.
Press STOP to raise the operating head and exit to the test menu.
Note
Tests 8 through 11 are designed to test only the function list-
ed; to check cassette positioning and sample tube handling,
run the Tube Transport Test, number 12.
9. Cassette Index Test
This test continuously cycles the cassette index mechanism.
On entry, “
[START] Test [STOP]
” is displayed. Press START to
begin the test.
If a cassette is in position to be engaged by the cassette index mech-
anism, it will be moved forward one position per cycle unless STOP
is pressed.
Press STOP to exit to the test menu.
10. Cassette Pusher Test
This test continuously cycles the cassette pusher.
If a cassette is in the left (input) cassette deck, it will be pushed into
index position and the test will pause until STOP is pressed or the
cassette is removed (the cassette will not be indexed).
On entry, “
[START] Test [STOP]
” is displayed. Press START to
begin the test.
Press STOP to exit to the test menu.
