Day/Night Mode
This parameter sets the device threshold for switching between color and black and white mode. The
default setting is
Auto
.

Color:
The device outputs color video.
•
Auto:
The device automatically outputs color or B/W video according to the device feature—
the general brightness of the video or whether there is IR light.
•
B/W:
The device outputs black and white video.
•
Sensor:
Select when there is peripheral connected IR light.
Saturation
This setting is for adjusting monitor window saturation. The value ranges from 0 to 100. The default
value is 50. The greater the number, the more intense the color. This value has no effect on the
general brightness of the video as a whole. The video color may become too intense if the value is set
too high. For the gray part of the video, distortion may occur if the white balance is not accurate. Note
that video quality may appear poor if the value is set too low. The recommended value ranges from
40 to 60.
Brightness
This setting adjusts monitor window brightness. The default value is 50. The greater the number is,
the brighter the video. When you input the value here, the bright section and the dark section of the
video will be adjusted accordingly. You can use this function when the whole video is too dark or too
bright. Note that the video may become hazy if the value is too high. The value ranges from 0 to 100.
The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60.
Contrast
This setting adjusts the monitor window contrast. The value ranges from 0 to 100. The default value
is 50. The greater the number, the greater the contrast. Use this function when the overall video
brightness is OK but the contrast is poor. Note that that the video may become hazy if the value is set
too low. If this value is too high, darker sections may lack brightness while the brighter section may
appear over exposed. The recommended value ranges from 40 to 60.
Hue
This setting adjusts monitor video brightness and darkness level. The default value is 50. The greater
the value is, the greater the contrast between the bright and dark sections.
