Alarm Input Port
To connect an alarm:
1.
Connect the positive end (+) of the alarm input device to the alarm input port (1-16) of the
NVR.
2.
Connect the negative end (–) of the alarm input device to the ground end (
) of the NVR.
In the example that follows, alarms 1, 5, 9 and 13 are configured.

The alarm inputs are Normally Open (NO).
•
When connecting the ground port of the alarm device to the NVR, you can use either of the GND
ports (
).
•
When there is peripheral power supplied for the alarm device, please make sure it is grounded
with the NVR.
