 MIF Asian Text Processing Statements

Kumihan statement

The 

Kumihan

 statement defines a set of Kumihan tables. A document can have one set of tables for each 

of the four supported Asian languages. 

Syntax

CharClass statement

The 

CharClass

 statement assigns individual characters to one of 25 classes. The JIS standard recognizes 20 

classes, and MIF includes an additional five classes (

 through 

Spare5

) so you can assign characters 

custom character classes.
