4. Unit Installation
MagnaClean CMX Midi Pro
(FL1-03-06631)
The
MagnaClean CMX Midi Pro
sidestream skid unit should be installed by a competent plumber or
service engineer on a solid, level floor which is able to support the filled weight of the unit of c.41kg.
Please ensure the minimum clearance requirements detailed in Fig.3 on page 5 are followed to allow for
servicing of the unit. No special equipment or tools are required for installation.
This unit can be connected to a heating or chilled system in any location in a sidestream configuration,
via the two 28mm compression ball valves included with the unit.
IMPORTANT:
The unit inlet and outlet should be connected
either across the system flow and return
,
(with the filter inlet connected to the system flow and the filter outlet connected to the system return)
or across a system pump
, as indicated below in Fig.5. The inlet and outlet connections should be a
minimum of 386mm apart to prevent back-circulation of system water.
