4.6 System Monitoring
As detailed in Section 4.4.3, system monitoring is done from the
Unit Status Screen
. The
Power Meters
display the current status of a particular unit. Functionally, the screen has
“spinners” for adjusting the minimum and maximum thresholds (if enabled) and provides
buttons calibrating/recalibrating (if enabled).
Note:
These settings are established on the
Power Meters
tab in the
Preferences
dialog
Select the unit in the
Unit List
/
Site Map
then right-click the
Tree Pane
or the
Event
Pane
to access the
Unit Status
command.
Switch
– This button designates the opposite side to be the primary side. It will only
switch if there is an acceptable power level on the opposite side.
Calibrate
– Click this button to calibrate the associated side (if enabled).
Serial Number –
Displays the unit’s serial number.
Description
– Displays user-input description of the unit.
Failure History
– Displays a list of unit failures.
