6. Enter a new site name in the Name edit box.
7. Click Add to add a new site to the parent, or click Update to change the name of an
existing site.
8. To remove a site, highlight the site in the drop-down menu and click Delete .
4.4.6 Adding a Unit to the Site Map
A unit can be added to the Site Map either manually or automatically.
Adding a Unit Manually
Perform the following procedure to manually add a unit to the program:
1. Use the View – Unit Properties menu command to switch the Unit Pane to the Unit
Properties view ( Figure 21 ).
2. Enter the serial number and function of the unit.
3. Select the Locate tab and enter the COM port.
4. Click on the port tab(s) and select a site to which the unit/port will be assigned.
5. Select the Add button

Note : You can also enter only the serial number, and then select Find COM Port to let
the program determine the function and COM port.
