Configuration Settings

This appendix describes the configuration variables that control the 
appearance of the Adaptec CI/O Management Software user 
interface and the way in which array and system operations are 
carried out. The variables controlling the user interface appearance 
are in the Windows NT registry. The other variables are defined in 
the 

iomgr.ini

. and 

cioams.ini

 files

Many of the variables are configured for you once you install the 
software or start the program. If you are an advanced user and you 
want to customize your settings, you can edit the variables in the NT 
registry, or you can open 

iomgr

.

ini

 in a text editor and manually 

make changes.
