6. Replacement points and assembly for cutters, bearings
This section introduces essential points on fixed cutters, scrapers, rotary cutters and bearing
replacement.
In order that you can operate this machine safely shown as in Chapter 1, while performing the
replacement and assembly task, please strictly follow the matter-needs-attention item described
in Chapter 2.5 Precautions for maintenance and replacement items.
WARNING
Before starting the replacement tasks, make sure to turn off your primary side electric power to
avoid danger resulted from malfunction.

Open the feeding
hopper
Loosen the fasteners for the feeding hopper.
Tilt hopper away by opening it slowly.
WARNING
While opening the feed hopper, hold it with both hands and tilt back
slowly. Do not put your hand or fingers onto the stopper and gap.
It will cause lacerations or fractures if hand or fingers get pinched.

Removing the fixed
cutters, scrapers and
fixed crushing cutters.
2-1 Removing the fixed cutters and guide plate:
Loosen and take off the inner-hexagon bolts of M12 x 30L inside of
the cutting chamber.
2-2 Removing the fixed crushing cutters:
Loosen and take off the inner hexagon bolts of M10 x 25L inside of
the chamber.
When touching the fixed cutter and scraper, make sure to wear gloves, and
operate with great care. Because the cutter edges are sharp, it may injure
your hands and fingers.
