This chapter describes the step by step operation procedures for
running & stopping of the unit.
WARNING
Before any operation is started, carry out the mentioned work of Chapter
5. Preparations for operation.

START the unit
Press the START button on the control box.
When pressed, the green START indicator lights up and the
granulator begins running.
DANGER
◎
NEVER insert hands and fingers into the feed hopper and the
lower part of granulator during operation. Hands and fingers will
be cut off by the sharp rotating cutters!

Do not peer directly from above into the feed hopper during
operation. Plastic material scatters, and may hit and injure your
face
.
CAUTION
Over-feeding the runners (all at once) will cause cutter damage and
motor-stress related issues, so please avoid over-feeding them.
WARNING
When the Feed Hopper knob bolt or hopper are opened, the limit
switches for closed-confirmation is OFF, so the machine cannot start
running.
The same is true if the take-away box is not properly inserted, or if the
limit switch for the chamber drawer is disengaged.

Stop the unit
Press the red STOP button on the control box to stop the machine
operation. Never attempt to gain access to the cutting chamber until
the cutters have come to a complete stop, which may take a few
seconds, once the STOP button was pressed.
WARNING
Even if the equipment has stopped, do not insert hands or fingers into
the feed hopper or the cutting chamber at will, because your hands and
fingers will get cut off by the sharp rotating cutters.
