3. Maintenance checks every 6 months

Bolts, nut on each part
Follow the steps to check after stopping the machine by pressing the STOP
button, and turning off your primary power-supply.
Check each bolt and nut if they are loosened. If so, please tighten them.

(1) Machine operation started after a long-day holiday finished.
Perform the cleaning task of the granulator, particularly to remove the dust
on both left and right of dust wipers. While the machine is idling, please apply
clean, dry compressed air to the fittings on both left and right bearing areas.

Guard against machine rust.
Particularly, sprays an antirust sprayer (AGR-oil) on the cutters part, and keep
the unit in dry place.

Cover the opening on the feeding hopper with a plastic bag, etc. to prevent
improper objects and dust from getting inside.
(2) Before operation resumption

Open the hopper and chamber and inspect for improper objects or dust.

Before operation resumption, verify that the cutter clearances are properly set
with a gauge shim. Wipe the inside of the granulator with a mold-release
compound, etc. to remove anti-rust agent. Discard the first few batches of
ground up material to ensure foreign matter is purged.
5. Motor Grease

Bearing
Use a sealed, shielded bearing.
Gear motor
The motor has factory-installed, sealed grease to lubricate, which is maintenance
free.
The life-expectancy of the oil seal ring depends on overall environmental
conditions.
