Re-naming your Drive
This section shows you how to change a volume label (ie
name) of a formatted volume/drive. If you wish to re-format
the Drive go to " Formatting the Drive " now. You will have the
opportunity to assign a volume label during the formatting
setup process.
Windows users:
1. Go to My Computer and right-click the Drive's icon.
. In the pop-up menu, select Rename.
. Enter a new name in the icon label and press Return.
Mac users:
1. Click the Drive's icon on the Desktop and press Return. The label
field will be highlighted.
. Type in a new name and press Return.
You may be required to enter an administrator password before
the change is accepted.
