6.5.5 Analog Output Configuration
The AVT
’s
Analog Output is primarily used to provide an analog signal representing the Airflow
Volume flowing through the valve. The signal type and full-scale range of the Analog Output
are user-defined values that are configured by clicking on the boxes adjacent to each heading.
The Analog Output can also be configured to indicate the AccuNet Airflow Volume or it can be
configured to Manual Override if desired.
The following examples show the three different options for configuring the Analog Output.
Example 1 shows the Signal Source set t
o “Valve Airflow” which is the most common
configuration. Example 2 shows the Signal Source set to “AccuNet Airflow” which is only
available for applications that include AccuNet where this transmitter is selected as the
“Totalizer”. Example 3 shows the Signal Source set to “Manual Output” which is typically used
for troubleshooting wiring issues.
