Disconnect the green Test Mode connector and remove the supplied Initializa-
tion Connector from its complementary factory connector. You MUST
MUST

nect these connectors before driving the vehicle. KEEP the supplied Initialization
Connector in a safe place; you will need it for future AccessPORT operations.
When removing the Initilization connector, DO NOT pull on the wires. Doing so
may damage the connector. This connector is VERY important in the event you
ever need to program (flash) the ECU again.

Go drive! Your vehicle is now AccessPORT enabled!
Once the AccessPORT has finished reprogramming, it will display a message
prompting you to turn the ignition key to the ‘OFF’ position.
Turn the ignition key to the ‘OFF’ position. Next, press the OK button on the
AccessPORT. The AccessPORT will now display the MAIN MENU. At this point,
your AccessPORT is married to your ECU and the Map you selected is now active
on your ECU.
You can safely disconnect the AccessPORT from the vehicle.

DO NOT disconnect any cables during this time. Doing so will cause a
programming error and your vehicle will not start. Take care with the
DiagPORT cable connection by avoiding any tension. The DiagPORT
cable remains connected to the vehicle’s diagnosis port through friction,
there is no locking mechanism. Kicking, jarring, or pulling on the
connector may disconnect it and corrupt the programming.
