1. Operation
a) Locking
There are two possible ways of locking:
• Press the button ”Lock” on the remote control (lower button). ”M” is faded in
to the display.
• Press the button ”Lock” (left upper button) on the radio remote control for
about one second. The radio tower symbol appears in the display briefl y and
the memory slot number of the radio remote control used is faded in.
Unintended locking and unlocking procedures are avoided where
possible by pressing the key on the radio remote control for a longer
time (i.e. by briefl y pressing a key when transporting the remote in
a bag etc.) This is of course the case for all 3 keys on the remote
control.
The locking bolt is launched into the previously determined locking position, the
symbol „Locked“ ( ) appears. A longer audio signal sounds on the door lock
actuator after completing this procedure.
If the lock has in the meantime been turned by a hand wheel on the inside or
by a key on the outside, then the actuator does not move to the programmed
position ”Locked” for safety reasons, but it is turned towards „Locked” till it
reaches the stop.
+
Please Note:
A jamming lock is, if the need may be, (after previous manual operations on the hand
wheel or with the key ) recognised as „Locked” to the end stop. In this case the symbol
„Locked“ ( ) could be shown and the acoustic acknowledgement signal sounded out,
although the lock is not completely locked.
You may be able to overcome the jamming of the lock by repeated locking attempts
if this is just a disturbance occurring in normal operations (i.e. due to temperature
infl uences).
