20. Control input 1 and 2
Control input 1 can be used if the end user wants to
vary the charging power at different times of the day
or week, for instance to adjust the charging speed to
different electricity tariffs. This can be done with an
external timer relay output, which will short the IN1
input to GND.
Control input 2 can be used the same way as
Control input 1. The input is activated by shorting
IN2 and GND. Default current limitation is 6A for
both Control input 1 and 2, and it can be configured
up to 63A. Control input 1 has priority over control
input 2, if both are activated.
21. Relay output
To prioritize charging, the relay output of homeCLU can
be configured to control other loads while charging.
The maximum current handling for the relay output is
5A at 250V AC. The relay action can be set using the
configuration tool:
• Always off (default)
• On when charging
› Shorting terminals X1 and X2
• Off when charging
› Opening terminals X1 and X2
• On when error
› Shorting terminals X1 and X2
