3.1 Installation
All aspects of extractor installation
(electrical, ventilation and exhaust) must
be performed by an approved installer
in accordance with applicable standards.
If your extractor has non-standard
dimensions, please consult the drawings
supplied with the extractor with regard
to installation.
Note: The manufacturer does not accept
any responsibility in the event of
installation, mounting and use contrary
to applicable rules and regulations.
3.2 CMVR
®
setup
Extractor versions with CMVR
®
are
equipped with a constant volume regulator
(CVR). The air flow of the regulator must be
adjusted to match the exhaust valve of the
natural ventilation system to which the
extractor is connected.
The flow rate of the CVR is 120 m
3
/h in the
standard configuration.
Removing one vane raises the flow rate to
150 m
3
/h.
Removing both vanes raises the flow rate to
180 m
3
/h.
Note: If the flow rate of the CVR is much
larger than the capacity of the natural
ventilation system, ventilation may be
disrupted by the excess flow.
