Screw the mounting pipe into the saddle until it is tight.
Level the mounting pipe:
a.
Level and center the pipe and saddle on the top of the meter run. Tighten the saddle-
mounting U-bolt.
b. Level the pipe so that the pipe is perpendicular to the meter run using the saddle
leveling bolts (if available) on the mounting saddle.
Tighten the saddle-mounting U-bolt as tight as possible to avoid vibration-related issues.
Install the XFC G5 or XRC G5 mounting brackets to the back of the enclosure using the pipe
mount instructions supplied in the mounting kit.
Attach the enclosure to the mounting pipe:
a.
Hold the enclosure in place against the mounting pipe and insert a U-bolt around the
pipe and through the corresponding holes on the upper mounting bracket.
c. Add the flat washer and split washer onto the U-bolt, then screw the nut onto the U-
bolt.
d. Repeat steps 6a and 6b for the second mounting bracket.
Raise the XFC G5 or XRC G5 into position on the mounting pipe.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Position the XFC G5 or XRC G5 high enough to allow some downward
slope from the externally mounted manifold to the tap valves.
Secure the XFC G5 or XRC G5 in place by tightening the U-bolt nuts. This will help to avoid
vibration-related issues.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Select a mounting location that allows for easy access, is close to the tap
valves, and complies with all local and national codes.
