Shutting Down the Sample Gas Feed Unit 

WARNING 
Before the sample gas feed unit is shut down it must be purged to prevent the 
accumulation of condensate and deposits. 

NOTE 
Make sure the sample gas feed unit is free of residual moisture that can freeze if 
low temperatures are encountered during storage and transport. Ambient 
temperature during storage and transport: –25 to +60 °C. 

Shut Down the Sample Gas Feed Unit 

1 

Disconnect the power supply. 

2 

Shut off the sample gas supply to the sample gas feed unit. 

3 

Remove the gas pipes from the connections on the feed unit. 

4 

Thoroughly purge the sample gas feed unit gas paths with an inert gas. 

5 

Fully tighten the gas connections. 

6 

Disconnect the electrical leads.
