To calculate the weight of a frame, identify the cur-
rent rating for each module. Select the weights
from the appropriate column in the adjoining table
for SafeGear components.
A frame consists of one bus and cable module and
the approriate circuit breaker and auxiliary mod-
ules. The weight of the circuit breaker is given sep-
arately and must be added.
Low voltage modules may contain significant
amount of secondary equipment and wiring. De-
pending on the extent of secondary protection and
control equipment, ABB recommends adding 20%
to 50% of the empty weight of the module.
Typical frame weights are listed in the adjoining ta-
ble. Weights include all modules and components
previously listed.
