If the automatic mode is selected for the execution order from the PCM600
toolbar, the cycle time, execution order and instance number are automatically
assigned. Otherwise, set them manually before assigning.
Function blocks can also be inserted in the drawing area by dragging,
using the shortcut menu in Application Configuration, or by using the
shortcut keys CTRL+SHIFT+F.

Renaming main applications and objects
Main applications and objects in the Application Configuration can be renamed in the
Object Properties
window.
1.
Select the item to be renamed.
•
To rename a main application, click a
MainApp
tab.
•
To rename an object, click the object in the Application Configuration tool
window.
The data of the selected item is shown in the
Object Properties
window.

Enter the new name in the
Name
or
User Defined Name
field.
The field cannot be left empty. If the maximum length is exceeded or unallowed
characters are used, an error message is shown.

Click the Save button on the toolbar to save the new name.
Objects can also be renamed by right-clicking a function block in
Application Configuration and selecting
Set User Defined Name
, or
by pressing F2.

Finding application objects
In Application Configuration you can search and locate function blocks, variables,
hardware channels, text, signals, comments or graphical objects.
1.
On the menu bar, select
Edit
and click
Find
.

To use a simple search function, type in the text box search words, such as
symbol name, and click
Find Next
.
•
To use an advanced search function, click
Find Options
, define the more
detailed searching options and click
Find
. The search results are shown on
Search Results field. Click an item on the list to locate it.
The finding function can also be started by pressing the shortcut keys
CTRL+F.
