Upgrading firmware

You can upgrade the firmware of I/O device of type EtherNet IP.

Use the following procedure to upgrade the firmware.

1 On the start screen, tap

I/O

, and then select

I/O Devices

from the menu.

2 Select

Firmware Update

in the context menu for an EtherNet IP I/O device.

The

I/O Modernization

window is displayed with the details of the firmware

upgrade.

Note

The Firmware upgrade option is available only for the network type EtherNet
IP.

3 Tap

Browse

and select the firmware from the location it is stored.

4 Tap

Upgrade

The firmware for the selected EtherNet IP I/O device is upgraded.
