2. Overview
2.1. Description of product
JSD-TD25P-xxxxxx/JSTD25P-1 is an operating unit / actuator combination whose basic structure
consists of a housing with two side-mounted safeballs; these are spatially enclosed in two protective
clamps for ensuring protection against damage and faulty operation.
Furthermore, additional command and signaling devices can be integrated in the housing depending on
the version.
2.2. Additional control devices (optionally installed)

Installing up to three additional control devices is possible depending on the configuration.
2.3. Indicator lights / LED display (optionally installed)
The manufacturer also installs indicator lights or LED display elements.
For functioning and wiring, refer to the additional datasheet enclosed with the product.
2.4. Safeball
™ rotationally mounted (optionally installed)
The rotary push button, which can be attached to a Safeball
™ as an option, allows the actuation of
maximum of two additional switching elements by turning the Safeball
™ by approx. 10°-15°.

2.5. passive sensor EVA (optionally installed)
Depending on the configuration of the operating unit, the passive sensor EVA is built in the housing to
monitor the safe position of the operating unit.
For additional data on sensors, refer to the enclosed product information sheet for EDEN.
Please note that the holder adapted for the operating unit, with the non-contact sensor ADAM and the
safety switching device Vital or Pluto Safety PLC is required for assessing the integrated non-contact
sensor EVA.
