Removal, motor, axis 6
The procedure below details how to remove the motor, axis 6 from the robot.

Action
DANGER
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and pneumatic
pressure supplies to the robot!

Disconnect the motor connectors R2.MP6 and
R2.FB6.

Connect to connector R3.MP6:
•
+: pin 4
•
-: pin 5
In order to release the brakes, connect the 24 VDC
power supply to the motor.

Shown in the figure
Unscrew the four
attachment screws and washers
.

Remove the motor by gently lifting it straight up.
Be careful not to damage the motor pinion!

Refitting, motor, axis 6
The procedure below details how to refit the motor, axis 6 to the robot.

Connect to connector R3.MP6:

+: pin 4
•
-: pin 5
In order to release the brakes, connect the 24 VDC
power supply to the motor.

Gently fit the motor to the tilthouse. Be careful not
to damage the motor pinion when mating it to the
gearbox!

Secure the motor with its four
attachment screws
and washers
, using locking liquid.

4 pcs; M6x20.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm.
Locking liquid is specified in
Disconnect the brake release voltage.

Perform a leak-down test.

Reconnect the motor connectors R3.MP6 and
R3.FB6.

Calibration is detailed in a separ-
ate calibration manual enclosed
with the calibration tools.
Recalibrate the robot.
