When installing the high temperature design with a fluid temperature of max. 180 °C, the
connection box for sizes DN 125 [5"] and larger is separated from the lower section of the
flowmeter sensor by a piece of pipe. This provides complete thermal insulation between the
flowmeter sensor and connection box. The pipeline and flowmeter sensor insulation
must
be
performed after installation according to the following illustration.
