DCS 600 Operating Instructions
This steps take place into the DCF 601/602 field supply unit!
Make sure the correct wiring between 3-phase Field exciter DCF 601, DCF 602 and the
overvoltage protection unit DCF 505, DCF 506

check field current and field voltage by measuring them

Activates the field current controller’s auto-tuning function.

(zero) is shown on the
display.
Note:
use online mode in Drive
Window
If the unit aborts the auto-tuning routine with the signal 15.02 = -1, the probable cause
of this can be read out of Parameter
6.02
and has to be eliminated as far as possible
(supply, switching sequence, field contactor wiring etc.). Afterwards repeat the auto-
tuning routine. If necessary, perform manual balancing.
Switch OFF power!
