Start-up

Contents of this chapter

This chapter contains the start-up and switch-off procedures of the drive.

Start-up procedure

The tasks which are needed in certain cases only are marked with underlining, and option
codes are given in brackets. Default device designations (if any) are given in brackets after
the name, for example “main switch-disconnector [Q1]”. The same device designations are
also used in the circuit diagrams.

These instructions cannot and do not cover all possible start-up tasks of a customized drive.
Always refer to the delivery-specific circuit diagrams when proceeding with the start-up.

chapter.

For certain options (such as functional safety oQ950, +Q951, +Q952, +Q957,
