If C204 is selected, two frame R5i inverter modules are installed into their own
compartments in a 500 mm wide cubicle. At the top of the cubicle, there is another
compartment which contains the common DC switch-disconnector and fuses for all the
modules in the cubicle.
The inverter modules are installed in an upright position. The cooling air is guided from the
cool area at the front of the cubicle through the modules into the hot area at the back. The
hot air is exhausted through the roof of the cubicle.
Each module has a dedicated DC switch-disconnector. When the switch-disconnector is
open, the door to that particular compartment can be opened. It is also allowable to replace
the module, its cooling fan, or its DC fuses.
The motor (output) connections for each module are located at the lower part of the cubicle.
The cubicle is equipped with cable entries at the floor.
The picture below presents an example of the layout with two R5i modules.
