3. Determine the correct mounting orientations. See the example of correct and
incorrect orientations shown in below figures:
Incorrect orientation Correct orientation
Drive end (DE) 1
Non-drive end (NDE) 2
Make sure that:
•
Y-axis is parallel to the shaft and the arrow points to the NDE.
• X-axis is vertical to the motor base pointing against it.
• Z-axis points away from the motor.
4. Stick the plastic enclosure on the glued motor surface and hold until the glue
sets (approximately 10 minutes).
Note:
• The glue achieves its full strength after a few hours. See specifications of
Loctite
®
AA 326 (page 72) .
• The motor fin mounting pads are not included in the package. You must
order them separately.
