8.3.13 Menu "Station" – "Setting FM stations manually"
Fig. 42: Setting up FM manually
The menu is located in menu level "Radio stations".
Via this menu you search through the entire frequency range for FM stations. The stations that
are found can be played temporarily or saved as favourite.
Use the following steps to manually search for FM stations:
1. Switch to menu "Radio stations".
2. Switch to menu item "Setting FM frequency manually".
3. Use the "PLUS / MINUS" buttons to search for a FM station manually.
– With a brief press of the "PLUS / MINUS" buttons the displayed frequency changes by
0.05 MHz respectively.
– With a long press (longer than 1 second) of the "PLUS / MINUS" buttons the frequency
changes automatically to the next located station and stops there. The name of the
station is displayed after a few seconds.
The located station can be played temporarily.
– Confirm the selection with a brief press of the "ENTER" button.
– The selected station is temporarily stored as favourite "0".
– If the station is temporarily stored as favourite "0", the device switches to standard
operation and plays the station.
– If a different favourite is selected during standard operation or the device is switched off,
the stored favourite "0" is then no longer available.
Save the located station as favourite.
– Confirm the selection with a long press of the "ENTER" button.
– The selected station is stored as favourite and added at the end of the favourites list.
– If the favourite is to be placed at a different position, see chapter 8.3.14 “Menu
"Station" - "Move favourites"“ on page 55.
– After the favourite is saved the device remains in menu item "Set FM frequency
manually". Additional FM stations can be added.
– If all favourite positions are occupied, a warning message is displayed. In this case, to
delete favourites from the list, see chapter 8.3.15 “Menu "Station" - "Delete favourites"“
on page 56.
