7.5  Removing s-max from the wheelchair

Press the UP/DOWN switch 

upwards so that the climber 

moves backwards, down 

towards the operator.

 

» The device and wheelchair 

are raised.

Let go of the UP/DOWN switch 

as soon as the wheelchair is 

raised  far  enough  to  fit  the 

wheels.

Put the wheelchair wheels on 

and apply the parking brake.

Remove the two locking pins 

from the top brackets.

 

» In doing so, the release 

bolts must be pressed in.

Press the UP/DOWN switch 

downwards. Fully retract the 

climber.

Move the s-max backwards 

away from the wheelchair.

 

» If the s-max tilts when 

extending the lower bracket, 

press the handle forward 

slightly several times and 

extend the device further 

backwards.
