5 Assembly and start-up
5.1 Handle unit
WARNING - The handle unit must be securely fixed with the locking screw so it is safely
connected to the climbing unit!
WARNING - the climbing unit attachment may only be set by the manufacturer, the AAT field
team or authorised specialist dealers!
A 9-pin sub-D coupling in the attachment establishes the electrical connection.
Connect the handle unitand
climbing unit.

The attachment must be
aligned parallel to the
housing.
Secure connection with the
standpipe fixing knob. Both
units must be connected
safely.
5.2 Battery pack
WARNING - The battery pack has to be locked safely, otherwise it may move involuntarily!
Assembly
Insert the battery
pack into the opening
provided for this purpose in
the climbing unit.

The battery latch locks
automatically.
Disassembly
Loosen latch.

Press down the release
button on the climbing unit,
then remove the battery
pack.
