6.1 Adjusting the handles to the correct height
NOTE - Store s-max in a frost-free environment at least one hour prior to start-up to
avoid malfunctions.
NOTE - Wait a few seconds after turning on before pressing the UP/DOWN switch!
6 Start-up
WARNING - Always securely fix the handle with a locking screw so the handle setting does not
change unexpectedly!
CAUTION - To avoid injury, beware of pinch points at the groove opening!
Turn the height adjustment
locking screw counter
clockwise and pull out the
handle at shoulder height.
Tighten the locking screw
clockwise.
6.2 Transverse adjustment handle
Turn the transverse
adjustment locking screw
anti-clockwise.
Move handle in the desired
direction.
Tighten the locking screw
clockwise.
The handle may hit the wall if the stairwells or spiral staircases are narrow. In these cases, adjust the
handle in a transverse direction.
