2. Temperature adjustment check
Step 1. After inputting the low temperature data, keep the temperature.
Step 2. Press the RE-ZERO key to show zero. Note the zero point reading. Place a mass in
table below on the pan and note the span reading. The span data is calculated after
subtracting the zero point reading from the full point reading. Remove the mass.
Step 3. Set the temperature to 30°C again. Leave the balance at that temperature for at
least 4 hours. (Leave the balance with D2 data mode.)
Step 4. Note the zero point reading.
Step 5. Press the RE-ZERO key to display zero.
Step 6. Place a mass in table below on the pan and note the span reading. The span data is
calculated after subtracting the zero point reading from the full point reading.
Remove the mass.
Step 7. Verify that the changes in the zero point and span are within the specifications.
