Problems and fault
Fault description and trouble shooting
Frequency converter
overcurrent
The output current of the frequency converter is too large, over the
overcurrent point set by the software parameter, or the output current
reaches the maximum value of the frequency converter hardware
design range.
Check and trouble shoot
The power of the motor does not match the power of the
frequency converter
Acceleration time is too short
Motor overload
The output circuit of the frequency converter is grounded or
short-circuited
Motor parameters have not been identified
High frequency
torque or slow speed
response, motor
vibration
When the frequency is higher than the speed regulator coefficient
switching frequency P0706.F, the user can improve the torque and
speed response by adjusting the parameters P0702.F speed
regulator proportional gain 1 and P0703.F speed regulator integral
time 1, to strengthen the speed loop proportional adjustment or
reduce the speed loop integral time.
If vibration occurs, the values of P0702.F and P0703.F need to be
reduced.
Low frequency torque
or speed response is
slow, motor vibration
When the frequency is lower than the speed regulator coefficient
switching frequency P0706.F, the user can improve the torque and
speed response by adjusting the parameters P0704.F speed
regulator proportional gain 2 and P0705.F speed regulator integral
time 2, to strengthen the speed loop proportional adjustment or
reduce the speed loop integral time.
If vibration occurs, the values of P0704.F and P0705.F need to be
reduced.
Low speed accuracy
When the load speed deviation of the motor is too large, the slip
compensation gain P0711.F can be adjusted appropriately.
The motor is noisy
Appropriately increase the value of carrier frequency (P0202.F).
Notice that increasing the carrier frequency will increase the leakage
current, and increase the temperature rise of the frequency converter.
Needs to consider the frequency converter derating.
Insufficient motor
torque or insufficient
output
Check whether the upper limit of torque is restricted.
Increase the upper limit of torque in speed mode.
Increase torque command in torque mode.
(2) Closed loop vector control mode (P0207.F=1)
☆
The closed-loop vector control mode is only applicable to FT50 series frequency converter. It is
used in scenarios where the motor is with the encoder speed feedback. In this control mode, it
