Note:

 you must apply the sample to the sensor while the blood drop symbol is flashing in the display. If the meter 

turns off before sample application, remove sensor and insert again.

Note:

 if blood is not applied within 2 minutes, the meter will go into “sLEEp Mode” to conserve the battery life.

Note:

 do not press the sensor directly against the skin. Touch the blood drop gently with the sensor.
