Xserve (Late 2006) Take Apart — Logic Board

Following the order shown, loosen the nine thumbscrews that secure the logic board to the

enclosure. Use the same order when replacing the logic board.

Note:

The thumbscrews are captive; you cannot remove them.

Grasping the logic board only by its expansion card riser and edge as shown, move it

forward and up slightly to release it from the rear port openings in the enclosure.

Remove it from the Xserve.
