Safety
This manual contains important safety instructions that must be followed during installation, operation, and maintenance
of the product. Review the drawings and illustrations in this manual before proceeding. If you have any questions regarding
the safe installation or operation of this product, please contact 9dot or your nearest 9dot representative. Save this
document for future reference. Please keep it in a safe place for future reference.
To reduce the risk of injury and to ensure continued safe operation of this product, the following terms have been
incorporated into this manual:


General warnings and precautions
You should read and understand the following warnings before installing the 9dot NCore and its components. Otherwise,
it could cause personal injury.
 Read and follow all instructions included in this manual.
 Don't work alone in dangerous conditions.
 Only qualified personnel may install, use, and repair this system and its components.
 Always assume electrical connections or conductors are live. Turn off all switches and recheck connections with a
voltmeter before installation or maintenance.
 In case of battery connection, installation and maintenance should be performed or supervised by experienced
personnel. Never open or damage the batteries.

Take special care when connecting or adjusting the battery cables. An improperly connected battery cable or a
disconnected battery cable can cause arcing, fire, or explosion.
 A battery that shows signs of rupture, leakage, or swelling should be replaced immediately by authorized personnel
using a battery of the same type and rating.
 Higher ambient temperatures will shorten the life of the battery.
 Keep the installation area clean and dust-free during and after installation.
 Wear safety glasses when working in conditions that can be dangerous to the eyes.
Certifications and compliances
The NCore (base unit and modules) has been tested and found to comply with CE and IC standards.
It also complies with RoHS regulations and Part 15 of the FCC rules - this device may not cause harmful interference and
must accept any interference received. It should only be used indoors.
EU Declaration of Conformity
Hereby, 9dot S.r.l. declares that the NCore complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the
RED 2014/53/EU radio equipment directive and the 2011/65/EU RoHS directive on restrictions on the use of certain hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
