NCORE MANUAL
VER. 2 REV. 1
Battery discharge cycle
The discharge test provides the total discharge of the battery to measure the energy actually available, without having to
know the nominal values or the state of health of the battery.
If the test is in progress, a sign appears as in the figure, with the message "Full Discharge cycle in progress" and you will
also see that the OFF indication appears above the board indicating that the input rail of the power supply modules of the
NCore are disconnected.
To be true, the test must be performed with the battery fully charged and with the expected loads applied, otherwise the
percentage of charge displayed will not be accurate.
The battery module will indicate 0%, to show the search for the minimum value of the load. The test does not give problems
of interruption of the service and, once completed, the transition to the electrical network is instantaneous and transparent
for the user.
If we want to cancel the battery discharge test, we click the "Cancel" button. It will ask us for confirmation and we give OK.
ACDC input module
For input modules, you get information about voltage, instantaneous absorbed current, and module status.
